There's Never A Bad Time To Start Helping To Spread The Word Of
By Brian Fong, Fri Dec 9th

Q. What's the right age to start giving a Bible quiz to my child?

A. The moment that she is able to recognize pictures or symbols. It's never too soon to start teaching a child about God, and aBible quiz is an outstanding way to do it.

When most people think of a quiz they think of a series ofwritten questions and multiple choice answers. While that may bethe way most quizzes work, there's no law that says it's theonly way. And even if there is such a law, I, the GreatQuizmaster, hereby decree that such law is rescinded!

Even if a child cannot read, they are able to identify pictures, shapes, and colors very early. They also learn to listen, andreason, long before they even learn to talk. With this in mind, you can design a Bible quiz that appeals to any age group. Hey,why focus on just children? Anyone of any age will surelybenefit from a Bible quiz.

The easiest way to design a Bible quiz for small children is totie it in to an age appropriate Bible story. You can findpictures and drawings on the Internet that match concepts thatwere explained in the story. Print the pictures and paste themto a piece of paper. Then ask your child questions and have thempoint to the picture that corresponds to the question.

As the child

gets older you can replace the picture quiz with astandard Bible quiz that has questions which are appropriate forthe child's reading level.

If you want to design a bible quiz for older children or adults, then you need a whole different type of Bible quiz. Rather thandesigning a quiz that forces them to remember specific Biblepassages, you might find that it is easier to keep theirattention if you focus on conceptual Bible issues. For example, you may want to ask what the significance of Jesus riding intoJerusalem on a donkey was. This enables you to design a biblequiz that tests the quiz taker's understanding of the Biblerather than their ability to memorize passages that they may notunderstand.

If you find that you have a knack for creating a good Biblequiz, you might want to ask your Pastor or Priest if you canhave the Bible quiz posted on the Church's web site or printedin the weekly bulletin. People love quizzes and a Bible quiz isa wonderful way to entertain and bring the love and power of Godinto someone's life.

The Bible says "God's Word never returns to Him void butaccomplishes that whereunto it was sent". With that in mind, whoknows what will be accomplished when you send a Bible quiz outin God's name.

Global Warming Heating Up…or Cooling Down?
Man’s original home in the Garden of Eden was perfectly suitable for living—forever. How so? Before God created the first man out of the elements of Earth, God took time to prepare the Earth which for untold time had been "without form and void," when "darkness was upon the face of the deep" (Gen 1:2). During the creative days He then proceeded to prepare the earth for man’s habitation. The Three Destinies of Man
Tragic events so prevalent in our day cause many to seek answers about life, death and the hereafter. Frequently asked questions are: "What is to become of me after I die? Is death the end?" "Will I go to heaven, or will I go to hell because I've backslid?" "What happens to the billions who have never heard of Christ?" In answer to these questions, our response is that God has illustrated in His Word three different paths which lead to three different destinies.Putting Out the Fires of Anarchy
"Therefore wait ye upon me, saith the LORD, until the day that I rise up to the prey: for my determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, even all my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devoured with the "fire" of my jealousy. For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the LORD, to serve him with one consent [‘shoulder to shoulder’ NAS]." Zephaniah 3:8-9
