Anxiety, You Can Overcome It! We live in hazardous times. Bad news is the order of the day. We hear of wars and watch national disasters claim the lives of millions. Everywhere people turn, they are confronted with wickedness and the evil machinations of men. The result is Anxiety, fear and uncertainty.
No one can pray these times away. Wishing one was born a century earlier is not the solutions. You must realize that you are a creature of destiny, not chance. God already designed that you live victoriously during these turbulent times. That’s why in several places God’s Word says: “He that overcometh shall inherit all things and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.” Revelation 21:7
There is something to overcome. In fact, the very presence of the world ‘overcometh’ implies that there is a battle to be fought. God had given the Israelites the land of Canaan, yet they had to contend with their enemies before they could possess the Promised Land. Deuterronomy

2:24 “Rise ye up, take your journey, and pass over the river Arnon: behold, I have given into thine hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land: begin to possess it, and contend with him in battle.”
The enemy will not hand the land over to anyone on a platter of gold. You must contend with him in battle, overcome him, and then possess your possessions.
Anxiety is an enemy. It is a spiritual cancer. No one visit a hospital and describes anxiety as a pain. But it is the root cause of many ailments. It is the feeling of a headache before the head actually begins to pulsate. It is the sleep of a full-grown man, even when the robbers have no plans to attack. You can overcome anxiety!
Whereas the world relies on common sense for solutions, as believers, God's has made Bible sense provisions available to us. A discovery of such provisions and their utilization will deliver better and lasting results to us.
